Why Do Weight Loss Programs Fail?
Not all your New Year resolutions do come through. Majority of us make a resolution to lose weight, but give it up fairly soon. Here are some reasons why we fail. If you analyze these reasons, you may find a way to get back on your program and succeed.
Setting unrealistic goals. Lot of us expects to lose weight within a short period of time. When things are not going according to our expectations, we quit. Keep in mind it takes time and you have to dedicate yourself to the program in order to succeed. Also, do not fall for programs that make false promises.
Strict diet. Some programs contain a strict diet and many of us lose interest in the program due to lack of selection of foods. When you select a program, among other things look at the menu options. Do not sign up for those programs that promote starvation and fasting.
Lack of patience, commitment and desire to succeed. Weightless programs are not temporary. Even if you change your habits, dedication and consistency are important to succeed. You need to make a long term commitment to stick to your diet and exercise program.
