What to avoid or limit to maintain good health?
Proper nutrition, portion control, and exercise are essential to maintain body weight and good health. The “diet” industry provides full of advice for you to maintain good health as well as to promote their products. But there are few areas they do not dare to touch. We develop the following to give you the truth and to help you with your nutrition and health.
- Avoid or limit eating processed food. Whether they come in cans, bags or any other packaging, they are mostly over processed, contains lots of sugar and/or salt, and fat that your body doesn’t need.
- Avoid or limit junk food including burgers, cakes, fries, pastries, candy and other similar food items. They contain sugar, salt and enormous amount of fat and calories that you don’t need.
- Consuming large amounts of diary could lead to gas built up in your stomach and bloating. You do need kefir and yogurt to get your probiotics and other essential vitamins and nutrients. But moderation is the key here.
- Limit treating yourself to a minimum. Occasional splurge or treat may give you nutrients and calories more than you need. Make sure to burn it off with a good workout.
